Happy holidays everyone!
This season I wanted to do something fun and I got to thinking...what's more fun than Bingo? Nothing. Absolutely nothing and if you disagree I'll be forced to fight you.
Anyway, I started brainstorming some holiday songs (I'll be honest, mostly Christmas-based songs since that's my history, but I tried to balance with general wintery songs and some opportunities to expand your own personal song-palette) and went a little wild pairing traditional holiday songs with tropes, both common and weirdly specific.
Some song-book connections are obvious. Hello, Mr. Grinch obviously equals Grumpy/Sunshine. But you might be wondering...what does Jingle Bells have to do with Only One Bed? Or why does Santa Clause is Coming to Town put thoughts of dark romances in my head?
