Why has it taken me so long to realize that Katie Ruggle is one of my favorite authors? I'm absolutely baffled about this. I have never once been disappointed with one of her romantic suspense novels and In Her Sights might take the cake as my all-time favorite. A family of bounty hunting sisters are sure to get themselves in a whole lot of trouble.

Review: The thing I absolutely adore about Katie Ruggle novels (In Her Sights included) is that her characters are so real. I mean, for god's sake, this is a story about a bounty hunters falling in love and I still felt like they could be people I'd meet on the street... and want to be friends with! The story-telling and dialogue you're getting from a Katie Ruggle novel are top notch.
Molly Pax is a delightful heroine. With her character you're in for some grade-A sarcasm, some kick-ass tackle scenes, and freaking adorable inner monologue. I cannot wait for the story to focus on her equally awesome sisters. Hell, I think half my fantasies about this book were about my wishing I was a part of such a hilarious family.
John Carmondy brought to the table some sexy comebacks, witty dialogue, and a well-described figure. Tall, buff, and dorky. I can die happy after being introduced to him. He was the perfect match for the independent, cautious Molly because he didn't want to force her to change careers or be more stereo-typically feminine... he just wanted her--and maybe he wanted her as a business partner, too.
In Her Sights is packed full of intense chase scenes, hot make outs, and lots--and I mean lots--of attempted burglaries. A 12 million dollar theft always brings out the worst sorts of people. I was laughing, even as my anxiety reached new heights at some of these scenarios.
I'm telling you... if romantic suspense is your thing then you're going to absolutely love the start to this new series! I can't wait for the second! In Her Sights is out February 15th! Pre-order it today!
