Heat Stroke by Tessa Bailey

Blurb: They can't be together. They won't stay apart.

Marcus “Diesel” O’Shaughnessy is a brash, oversized CrossFit enthusiast with a naked lady tattooed on his rippling forearm. Jamie Prince is a private school teacher with an extremely low tolerance for bull. The two men have zero in common. Well, except for three things.

They’re both moonlighting as lifeguards for the summer. No matter how hard they try, they cannot stay away from each other. And both of them have secrets they’re determined to keep.

But what happens in the shadows of the Long Beach boardwalk can only remain hidden for so long, before the July sunshine reveals the hot, unrelenting connection they never expected, forcing Marcus and Jamie to decide if they’re simply caught up in a temporary heat stroke or if they’ve found something worth rescuing...

Review: When I read the blurb for Heat Stroke a couples days ago on Tessa Bailey’s Instagram (@tessabaileyisanauthor) I thought I was going to lose it right then and there. I immediately downloaded and read Mouth to Mouth, the first novel about the notorious Prince brothers and only fell deeper down the rabbit hole of desperation. I only had to wait six days for Heat Stroke but it felt like a lifetime… and then Tessa surprised everyone by boosting her live release date up two days and I had it. I finally had Jamie Prince and Marcus Shaughnessy in my hands and it was everything.

And then I read it and everything took on a new meaning. Because Heat Stroke was more than everything. It was delicious, sinful perfection and my life will never be the same.

Jamie and Marcus are complete opposites, but there is nothing more erotic than a smarty-pants professor and an adoring meathead being unable to keep their hands off each other. Their banter was tantalizing foreplay and their foreplay was like the hottest sex I’ve ever read and their sex was… well, I can die happy. That’s all I can say.

Heat Stroke will tug at your heart, your body, and your soul. Scoop it up here.
